Restoration.
Four decades of peer-reviewed work in neuro-muscular realignment. Dr. Loren Fishman translates the ancient geometry of yoga into surgical-grade precision for chronic back, nerve, and orthopedic pain.
0.001
P-Value Confidence Interval
Our longitudinal studies demonstrate statistical significance in pain reduction through specific isometric protocols.

The Evidence
Base.
01
The 12-Minute Intervention
A study of 741 patients confirmed that consistent 12-minute daily sequences focused on the piriformis muscle resulted in a 74% reduction in recurring sciatic episodes.
Biometric Analysis
88.4
Mean improvement in bone density scores among patients practicing the high-frequency axial protocol over 24 months.
Methodology
“The intersection of orthopedic medicine and structural Hatha yoga creates a unique bio-mechanical feedback loop that stimulates neural regeneration.”
Conclusion
Patients previously scheduled for L4-L5 fusion surgery showed significant stabilization of the vertebral column through targeted muscular recruitment.
¶ 03 — Application
The Protocol.
01
Alignment Verification
Before any movement, the patient establishes the Neutral Axis — a precise three-point contact between the scapula, sacrum, and occiput against a vertical datum. This baseline is non-negotiable.
02
Neural Flossing
Controlled rhythmic oscillation of the lower extremities mobilizes the sciatic nerve through the myofascial interface without triggering defensive contraction.
03
Isometric Recruitment
Sustained 30-second holds in Tree, Triangle, and Side-Plank generate the precise loading required to stimulate osteoblastic activity and reverse cortical bone loss.
04
Reciprocal Inhibition
Engaging antagonist muscle groups instructs the nervous system to release chronic protective spasm — the root mechanism behind 80% of recurring back pain.
¶ 04 — The Investigator
A physician who studied yoga before he studied medicine.
Trained at Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship and at Columbia’s College of Physicians and Surgeons — but his most formative education came earlier, in Pune, India, studying directly under B.K.S. Iyengar.
Today he leads a Manhattan practice in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and publishes the clinical research that brings yoga from the studio into the exam room.
